River stage

Humidity is a glove. Wind is a thief. Name both.

Inez reads the Missouri the way a barge clerk reads a rise. A stamp that ignored the stage is just paint.

When the river is up, dawn greens hold water and low faces skate. When the river is down and the south wind runs, high faces hop into the gust and never land true. We keep a stage note on every ticket so a July recheck is not an argument about memory.

If you refuse to name a stage, Maren clips the ticket as "costume" and we stop. The silo does not guess weather.
